Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 May 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the website at www.assanpolicy.com ("the Website") and the broker services provided by Assan One Insurance Broker Pvt. Ltd. ("Assan One", "we", "us"), an IRDAI-licensed direct insurance broker (IRDAI License No. 924). By using the Website you agree to these terms.

2. What we do

We are a licensed broker — we compare plans across insurer partners and help you buy and service insurance policies. We are not the insurer. The policy contract is between you and the insurer you choose; insurance terms are governed by the policy document the insurer issues.

3. Quotes and prices

Premiums and plan features shown on /compare or other pages are illustrative for typical profiles. Your actual quote depends on age, sum insured, medical declarations, and insurer-specific underwriting. The final premium is what the insurer offers for your specific proposal — we confirm this with you over WhatsApp or call before any payment.

4. Your obligations

  • Provide accurate information. Material misrepresentation can void your policy or your claim.
  • Read and understand the policy document the insurer issues. Insurance is a contract of utmost good faith.
  • Pay the correct premium on time to keep cover active.

5. Our obligations

  • Disclose our broker fee structure on request.
  • Recommend products in your interest, not commission-led.
  • Resolve grievances per the escalation matrix on our Grievance Redressal page.
  • Keep your data per the Privacy Policy.

6. Account & portal

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. Activity under your account is treated as your action. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

7. Intellectual property

The Website's content, logos, and code are owned by Assan One. You may use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

8. Liability

We provide brokerage services with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee that any specific insurer will accept your proposal or settle a claim — those decisions sit with the insurer. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of our broker services is limited to the brokerage we have received from the relevant policy. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Governing law

Indian law governs these terms. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Thane, Maharashtra, India.
